About us

There has been a Church in Waddington since 1228.  The original medieval building has been described by some as having no great architectural beauty but was sadly destroyed in a Second World War air raid on the night of 8 May 1941. The community came together to rebuild their beloved parish Church and it was replaced by the present-day Anglican parish church of St Michael on the High Street. A modern stone building consecrated in 1954.

Today the church is a vibrant Church of England church in the heart of Waddington with a vision to be at the heart of the community playing its part in the flourishing of the community and seeing people encounter Jesus Christ.
