About us

There has been a Church in Waddington since 1228.  The original medieval building has been described by some as having no great architectural beauty, but was sadly destroyed in a Second World War air raid on the night of 8 May 1941. The community came together to rebuild their beloved parish Church and it was replaced by the present-day Anglican parish church of St Michael on the High Street. A modern stone building consecrated in 1954.

Today the church is a vibrant Church of England church in the heart of Waddington with a vision to be at the heart of the community playing its part in the flourishing of the community and seeing people encounter Jesus Christ.

On June 1st, we celebrated with the help of one of the local pubs and raised an amazing £1264.83 for the church.

A huge thank you to the Waddington community for coming out and supporting us.
